Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the pipe made of cardboard manufactured so as to have a resistance against a liquid by coating a part or the whole of the pipe made of cardboard with the extremely fine particles (the particles in a submicron-size) of an inorganic substance treated to hydrophobic properties and/or lipophobic properties.
SOLUTION: The pipe made of cardboard has a main-body wall formed of one or a plurality of cardboard layers wound in a tubular shape and mutually bonded and a liquid-resistive coating being composed of the extremely fine particles of the inorganic substance treated to liquid repellency and covering at least a part of the main-body wall.
