Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe which maintains a favorable appearance and reduces a flow stagnation or resistance on the pipe inner face side through which a fluid passes, a metal mold used for manufacturing this pipe, and a pipe manufacturing method.SOLUTION: A metallic pipe 1 having a bend 2 under flexure work is characterized in that an inside peripheral face 2a of the bend 2 on the side of a center of curvature PX is provided with a plurality of unflexure faces 4A, 4B and a plurality of folds 3A, 3B that bend the plurality of unflexure faces 4A, 4B to connect them. This pipe 1 makes wrinkles that spoil appearance difficult to generate because of bending to absorb wrinkles at the plurality of folds 3A, 3B. Further, an unflexure face free of pleat-like unevenness is formed between the folds 3A, 3B by bending the folds 3A, 3B. As a result, a flow stagnation or resistance on the pipe inner face side through which a fluid passes can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
