Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily penetrate a steel tube into the ground by a method in which jet water from a jet pipe set along the steel tube is jetted backwards on the reflecting face of a reflecting cone to transfer backwards the soil put into the steel tube.
CONSTITUTION: A steel tube 1 is penetrated into the ground through the window of a sheathing steel sheet pile for a shaft by means of an oil-pressure jack. High-pressure water is sent into a jet pipe 2 from a hose and jet water is sent from the tip nozzle 21 to fluidize the soil S put in the steel tube 1. The jet water is also reflected slantly backwards on the concaved reflecting face 23A of a reflecting cone 23, and the soil S is blown away backwards and discharged from the basal end of the tube 1 to the outside.
