Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable a pipe, which is transported by a dolly toward an existing line, to be located in the circumferential direction immediately before joining it with the line.
CONSTITUTION: A pipe 14 laid in horizontal direction is supported in such a way as not rotatably by a pipe support 26 furnished on a dolly and transported toward the place of joining. In lieu of the pipe support 26, in this place, the pipe 14 is supported by rotary rollers 36 so that it can rotate round the axis, and thereby the pipe 4 immediately before joining is positioned in the circumferencial direction.
