Abstract:

To provide a pipe capable of transporting gas containing bromine and a bromine compound over a long term at a low cost.

This pipe for transporting gas 3 has a main part member of a stainless steel pipe and a back ring 1 of a nickel-based alloy member welded and joined on an inner wall of a welded and joined part of the stainless steel pipe. The pipe is used for transporting gas. Corrosion resistance of a welded part of the stainless steel pipe can be improved by welding and joining the back ring so that the gas containing bromine and the bromine compound can be transported over a long term.
