Abstract:
To provide a strongly acidic pipe unblocker containing a visual temperature indicator which also serves as an indicator for rinsing check or neutralization check.
This liquid pipe unblocker contains at least one strong acid and a color indicator which may give different colors within a pH range from 0 to 1 depending on the acid concentration and polarity of the pipe unblocker solution. The color indicator is colorless at pH above 7, and gives at least two, preferably at least three different colors. The strong acid is selected from a group consisting of hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, phosphoric anhydride and a mixture thereof.
