Abstract:

PURPOSE: To execute a stable running by constituting so that an unnecessary force does not operate on the tip of a guide arm, in a pipe clamp mechanism in an automatic ultrasonic wave test equipment of a pipe.

CONSTITUTION: A pipe clamp mechanism consists of a guide roller 16, a bolt 17 and a band 15. A plate 18 consisting of a bolt 17 in which a guide roller 16 is incorporated, and a roller 10 is attached to an end plate by using a pin 14 as a guide. The rubber string-like band 15 being elastic a little is attached to a pipe through the clamp guide roller 16. As a driving device 2 rolls, the guide roller 16 rotates by using the band 15 as a guide. Accordingly, even when there is no heavy matter on the tip of a guide arm, and the driving device 2 comes to the lower side of the pipe, the empty weight and a reaction force of an air cylinder 5 can be supported sufficiently. Also, even when it comes to the side face of the pipe, a twist of the guide arm 6 can be prevented.
