Abstract:
To provide a pipette controller having relatively a simple structure and being capable of corresponding to multiple cylinder plunger assemblies differing in volume and capacity.
A pipette controller (10) has a housing assembly (20) which houses a pump assembly (40) and connects a pipette (32) to the pump assembly (40) with a flexible air tube (70). The pump assembly (40) houses a plurality of removable independent cylinder plunger systems having a specific volume. The pipette controller (10) may be further equipped with a rapid release trigger mechanism for apportioning liquid rapidly and/or in large quantities from the installed pipette (32).
