PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping cleaning method, a piping cleaning device, and a freezing device, capable of cleaning connection piping connecting a heat source side unit of an air conditioner or a freezing device using a freezing cycle to a user side unit.
SOLUTION: In the freezing device in which the heat source side unit 2 of the freezing device is connected to the user side unit 3 through liquid connection piping and gas connection piping, the heat source side unit 2 or the user side unit 3 of the freezing device is changed into a heat source side unit or a user side unit of another freezing device using a different kind of cooling medium. Before enclosing the cooling medium after change into the liquid connection piping 5 and the gas connection piping 4, a piping cleaning device provided with a compressor and a foreign matter recovering device is connected to the liquid connection piping 5 and the gas connection piping 4. Cooling medium of a similar kind to cooling medium before change is circulated into the liquid connection piping 5 and the gas connection piping 4 by the piping cleaning device to clean the liquid connection piping 5 and the gas connection piping 4.
