Abstract:
PURPOSE: To connect the respective pipings by using a union and a nut in an appropriate and removable manner irrespective of the kind of the piping material by forming an annular wall part and an annular covering part with a material of high mechanical strength in an integrated manner, and providing a reinforcing member.
CONSTITUTION: Pipings 10, 20 which are arranged in an opposite and coaxial manner are coaxially piping-connected by using a union 30 and a nut 50. In this structure, an annular wall part 72 which is engagingly mounted on the tip part 21 of the piping 20 in a coaxial manner, and held between the bead part 22 and the tip of the cylindrical part 33 of the union 30. An annular covering part 73 is provided so that the annular covering part may be extended from the external circumferential edge of this annular wall part 72 to cover the external circumferential part of the bead part 22 and may be brought into contact with the inner surface of the annular contact part 51 of the nut 50. The annular wall part 72 and the annular covering part 73 are formed with the material of the mechanical strength which is higher than that of the material of the piping 20 in an integrated manner, and a reinforcing member is provided thereto. This arrangement allows the connection of the respective pipings 10, 20 by using the union 30 and the nut 50 in an appropriate and removable manner.
