Abstract:
To provide a piping connection identification system which enables a worker to easily confirm whether or not predetermined piping is connected in a short amount of time and thereby preventing a mistake in piping connection even when a large variety of piping is to be connected.SOLUTION: A piping connection identification system comprises: a connector which is divided into a connection source and a connection destination with a plurality of electric contacts arranged on both ends of the connection source and the connection destination so that predetermined electric contacts of the connection source and the connection destination are brought into contact with each other on a one-to-one basis when being connected; and detection means which detects connection between the connection source and the connection destination. The connection source is short-circuited to two or more electric contacts among the plurality of electric contacts. When connecting a piping connection section of piping at one side to a piping connection section of piping at the other side, the piping connection identification system identifies types of piping connected to each other in a manner that brings the connection source attached to the piping at the one side into contact with the connection destination attached to the piping at the other side and causes the detection means to detect energization states of the plurality of electric contacts of the connection destination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
