Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping leakage prevention system capable of suppressing fluid leakage on an early stage in the case where the leakage occurs in service system piping in an atomic power plant.SOLUTION: A piping leakage prevention system 1 comprises: a cutoff valve 14 provided in piping which extends from a tank for storing a fluid and in which the fluid from a tank 10 is circulated, for opening and closing a flow passage of piping 12; a pump 20 provided at a downstream side of the cutoff valve 14 in the piping 12 for circulating the fluid by applying a pressure to the fluid in the piping 12; an actuator 30 for driving the cutoff valve 14 in such a manner that the flow passage of the piping 12 is closed if a fluid pressure at an exit side of the pump 20 within the piping 12 is reduced; a limit switch 24 which is operated in the case where the cutoff valve 14 is closed at a predetermined aperture by operation of the actuator 30; and a control device 50 which performs control for stopping the pump 20 based on the operation of the limit switch 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
