Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a center of gravity of a tank lorry to be lowered, by providing a notch at an intersection with a concentration pipe of a lateral pipe placed below the concentration pipe connected with a bottom valve of each tank chamber, fitting the concentration pipe into the notch, and welding a rim of the notch with the concentration pipe.
SOLUTION: A tank lorry is equipped with a bottom valve 2 for each section chamber on a bottom of a tank 1, and a concentration pipe 3 for exhausting oil reserved in each section chamber is connected with each bottom valve 2. The concentration pipe 3 is circular in cross section, is placed in parallel to the fore and aft (lengthwise) direction of the tank 1, and is connected to a lateral pipe 6 having a circular cross section supported by a support frame 7 via a coupling pipe provided in the vicinity of its center. At this time, a notch 6a is formed at an intersection of the concentration pipe 3 and the lateral pipe 6, and the concentration pipe 3 is fitted into the notch 6a. A rim of the notch 6a and the concentration pipe 3 are integrated by welding to obtain a stable fastened state.
