Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability of piping work by holding through bolts to one of a pair of fastening pieces rotatably and out of falling in a piping support metal fitting including a piping band formed by fastening a pair of fastening pieces.
SOLUTION: A piping support metal fitting A holds a fitting protruding piece 3 in a mounting bracket 1 on the building frame fixed side and fastens a pair of opposed fastening pieces 8 of a piping band 5 by through-bolts 20 from one side and nuts 22 on the other side to fittingly fix the piping band 5 to the mounting bracket 1. Bolt shanks are loosely fitted into a circular through holes 9 of one fastening piece 8 of the piping band 5, and small diameter circular support shank parts 21 of the through-bolts 20 are positioned in the circular through holes 9. In this state, plastic deformation of circular fine grooves 10 close to the edge parts of the circular through holes 9 are applied to the inside of the fastening piece 8 over the whole periphery or partially by a press so as to hold the through-bolts 20 to the fastening piece 8 rotatably and out of falling. The fall and loss of the through-bolts 20 are therefore prevented so as to heighten workability of piping work.
