Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping tape enabling further simply performing edge treatment by reducing a work required for edge treatment, a method for manufacturing the same, and a raised mat using the piping tape.SOLUTION: A piping tape 1 includes one line of curved belt 11 where a curved cross section Sis continuously formed in a longitudinal direction D. The curved belt 11 is formed from a weave texture A where skip quantities of a weft WE are different between the front and the rear, and a surface having a large skip quantity of the weft WE in the weave texture A forms a recessed surface Sof the curved belt 11. A raised mat has a raised cloth material as the cloth material, and is edge-treated by the piping tape 1. A method includes a heat treatment step of heat treating a precursor tape which has the weave texture A to be the piping tape 1, and performs heat treatment without holding both width ends of the precursor tape in the step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
