Abstract:
To provide a pipe wall thinning prediction system and a pipe wall thinning prediction method, which can inexpensively and easily specify a portion to be monitored in piping in a plant.SOLUTION: A pipe wall thinning prediction system comprises: a first prediction model configured by learning using wall thinning rate/remaining life data regarding a wall thinning rate/remaining life of a pipe in a piping system to be analyzed and influence factor data regarding influence factors which affect the wall thinning rate/remaining life; a second prediction model by a physical formula showing the relationship between the wall thinning rate/remaining life data and the influence factor data; specifying means for specifying a portion having a high risk of wall thinning by giving the influence factor data of a portion to be predicted to the first prediction model; and evaluation means for obtaining and evaluating numerical values of the wall thinning rate/remaining life data of the specified portion having a high risk of wall thinning by giving the influence factor data of the specified portion having a high risk of wall thinning to the second prediction model. The pipe wall thinning prediction system presents reference information for determining the portion having a high risk of wall thickness as a pipe wall thickness measurement portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
