Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce stress by dispersing distorsion without increasing the weight of a piston and remarkably changing the piston form.
CONSTITUTION: A recessed part 12 is formed on the back of a piston 11, and a piston pin 18 is installed on the side wall 13 of the piston 11 in such a manner as to cross the recessed part 13. Plural recessed curved surfaces 19a, 19b having independent radii R1, R2 of curvature are formed on a corner part 19 between a side surface 12a and a top surface 12b which form the recessed part 12.
