Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the length from the base end to the tip of a discharge valve, to realize smooth opening/closing action of the discharge valve and to improve compression efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: Against the end face of a cylinder block 1 having a plurality of cylinder bores 1a for containing a piston 21, a housing 4 is bonded and secured in which a suction chamber 4b at the center and a discharge chamber 4c on the outer circumference part are divided and formed through a discharge valve forming plate 5 and a retainer forming plate 6. A refrigerant gas sucked from the suction chamber 4b by reciprocating motion of the piston 21 in the cylinder bore la is compressed in the cylinder bore and then, made to pass a discharge hole 3a formed on the valve plate 3 and discharged into the discharge chamber 4c pushing out a discharge valve 5a. The discharge valve 5a formed on a discharge valve plate 5 is formed to face the inside from an outer ring-state seal part 5c, and a retainer 6a for regulating open position of each of the discharge valves 5a is also formed to face the inside.
