Abstract:
To provide a piston which can obtain a characteristic corresponding to performance which is required to respective regions of the piston.SOLUTION: A piston contains an aluminum alloy. The piston has a piston head part, a first piston pin boss part and a second piston pin boss part. The piston head part has T6-treated hardness. The first piston pin boss part has a first piston pin hole into which a piston pin is inserted, and has T6-treated hardness which is higher than that of the piston head part. The second piston pin boss part has a second piston pin boss hole into which the piston pin is inserted, and has T6-treated hardness which is higher than that of the piston head part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
