Abstract:
To prevent abrasion of a projection 17 for defining or buffering the position of the top dead center of the piston 1 in a piston mechanism.
In this piston mechanism, the piston 1 disposed in a cylinder 2 is operated by the supply and discharge of liquid pressure to a liquid chamber 7 in the cylinder 2. A plurality of liquid reservoirs 171 are formed on the top face of the projection 17 formed to define the stop position of the piston 1. Some of the liquid supplied and discharged to and from the interior of the cylinder 2 is held in the liquid reservoirs 171 to lubricate the top face of the projection 17.
