Title:
PISTON PUMP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008286123
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a piston pump for pressure-transporting fluid at a constant flow rate with the forward and backward movement of a piston while securing a sliding property and sealing performance, having simple construction for reducing manufacturing cost and running cost.

In a cylinder 5 at an opposite portion 18 opposite to the piston 3 when the piston 3 is arranged at an upper dead center and also arranged at a lower dead center, a partitioning seal member 19 is provided to be put in close contact with the outer peripheral face of the cylinder 5 and the outer peripheral face of the piston 3. The piston 3 does not slide with the inner peripheral face of the cylinder 5 but slides with the partitioning seal member 19. Thus, it is only required to secure the machining accuracy of a sliding portion of the piston 3 with the partitioning seal member 19. As a result, the machining accuracy required for the inner peripheral face of the cylinder 5 can be reduced.
