Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston pump which can obtain favorable pump efficiency even if high-speed rotation at high pressurization is required, is simple in structure, easy in manufacturing, and reducible in cost.SOLUTION: A cylinder 12A formed at a cylinder block 10A at an axial first portion of a rotating shaft 8 is arranged circumferentially with respect to a rotation center C of the rotating shaft 8, a piston 16A is accommodated in the cylinder, mutually-opposing cam face parts 42A', 42A'' of a cam plate 42A which are oppositely arranged at an end part of the cylinder block are changed in axial positions according to a circumferential position around the rotation center C, and means which is gripped by and engaged with the cam face parts from both sides is arranged at the piston. A similar structure is formed at an axial second portion of the rotating shaft 8. A fluid suction space part and a fluid discharge space part which extend in the circumferential direction in a radial region corresponding to the cylinder and communicate with a fluid suction opening 30 and a fluid discharge opening 32 are formed at a valve member 4 which is interposed between the same cylinder blocks 10A, 10B.
