Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston ring capable of assuring both a strength of abutment part and a sealing characteristic in a superior manner.SOLUTION: A side surface 2a of a main body part 2 at an abutment part 3 has a first protrusion part 13 facing from one abutment end part 11 toward the other abutment end part 12 and a first receiving part 14 for receiving the first protrusion part 13 at the other abutment end part 12, a side surface 2b of the main body part 2 has a second protrusion part 15 from the other abutment end part 12 toward one abutment end part 11 and a second receiving part 16 for receiving the second protrusion part 15 at one abutment end part 11. An inner peripheral surface 2c side of the main body part 2 has a first male part 21 facing from the second protrusion part 15 toward the second receiving part 16 and a first female part 22 for receiving the first male part 21 at the second receiving part 16, and an outer peripheral surface 2d side of the main body part 2 has a second male part 23 facing from the second receiving part 16 toward the second protrusion part 15 and a second female part 24 for receiving the second male part 23 at the second protrusion part 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
