PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an amount of a blow-by gas.SOLUTION: A piston ring includes: a ring body; a first abutment joint face formed at one end in a circumferential direction in the ring body and oriented on one end side in an axial direction; and a second abutment joint face formed at the other end in the circumferential direction in the ring body and oriented on the other end side in the axial direction.
