Abstract:
A piston seal structure provided in a piston-type accumulator is configured so that the sealing properties will not be degraded by the permeation of gas, the distortion of a seal, or the deterioration of a material. Provided is a piston seal structure provided in a piston-type accumulator having a piston which is displaced within a cylinder, the piston seal structure comprising a gas-side seal section and an oil-side seal section, which are arranged next to each other on the outer periphery of the piston. The gas-side seal section is provided with a D-ring consisting of a rubber-like elastic body and having an outer peripheral surface which has a circular arc-shaped cross-section and which is in slidable contact with the inner surface of the cylinder. The oil-side seal section is provided with: a resin slider seal having an outer peripheral surface in slidable contact with the inner surface of the cylinder; and a back ring consisting of a rubber-like elastic body and disposed on the inner peripheral side of the slider seal.
