Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston structure of an engine, capable of improving the durability of a pressure ring and improving the heat radiation property of a piston.SOLUTION: In a piston structure of an engine equipped with a piston 1 and a pressure ring 2, the pressure ring 2 is equipped with a top ring 3 and a second ring 4. The top ring 3 is made to be a metallic ring 5, and the second ring 4 is made to be an elastomer endless ring 6. The second ring 4 is equipped with a lip portion 4a on an outer periphery. The piston 1 is equipped with a second ring groove 7. A surface of the second ring groove 7 is a heat insulation layer 7a, and the second ring 4 is internally fitted in the second ring groove 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
