Abstract:
To suppress excessive rise of oil temperature and to prevent excessive cooling of a piston during fuel cut in a cylinder injection type internal combustion engine cooling the piston by oil injection.
Oil injection is performed during a predetermined period of time from the start of fuel cut when the piston is cooled by new air. Consequently, it is possible to cool oil heated when cooling the piston and prevent excessive cooling of the piston by new air during fuel cut.
