PURPOSE: To add a different pitch bend effect depending on the compass of a musical sound even to the displacement of a pitch bender by setting and storing a pitch bend width every compass of the musical sound, reading the pitch bend width to the compass belonging to a pitch when the pitch is designated, and changing the designated pitch on the basis of the pitch bend width and the displacement of the pitch bender.

CONSTITUTION: A musical instrument panel 1 has a pitch information generating part 2 including a keyboard which generates the pitch information for designating the pitch of a musical sound generated by an electronic keyed musical instrument; and an operation panel part 3 consisting of various keys. When the pitch of the musical sound generated by adding a play operation to the keyboard of the pitch information generating part 2 is pitch-bent, various keys of the operation panel part 3 are operated in a preset mode so that a desired pitch bend width can be set independently every compass of the keyboard. Thus, a player can obtain a varied pitch bend effect by the displacement by the pitch bender operation and the set pitch bend width.
