Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the pitch error correcting accuracy for numerical control by storing a pitch error slope in divided sections and superposing a calculated pitch error correction amount on the command value obtained from distribution of pulses. CONSTITUTION:A pitch error corrector for numerical controller is provided with a microcomputer 1, a ROM3, a RAM4 which stores the pitch error slope, the slope changing point coordinates, etc., a manual data input device 7, etc. Data output devices 8-10 deliver the command values of axes X-Z given from the computer 1 to servo mechanisms 11-13 corresponding to said axes respectively. A motor 16 of mechanisms 11-13 moves a machine mobile part 20 via a ball screw 19. Then the computer 1 decodes an NC command program and delivers the command value to each axis. In this case, the machine coordinates is divided into plural sections. Meanwhile the pitch error slope is stored in the RAM4. Then a pitch error correction amount corresponding to the shift amount of this time is calculated for each sampling cycle based on said pitch error slope. This calculated correction amount is superposed on the command value and delivered to servo mechanisms 11-13.
