Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pivot hinge in which the tip of a pivot shaft is inserted to a bearing part to support a door by a frame body so that it can be rotated by an upper pivot hinge and a lower pivot hinge and the door can be removed and hung by arranging the tip of the pivot shaft of at least one of the hinges retractably from a case, enabling the door hanging operation to be easily performed by one person.SOLUTION: A pivot shaft 6 in a pivot hinge provided in the present invention is characterized in that a tip thereof is inclined, attached movably so that it is protruded and retracted from a case 9, and energized in the protruding direction and the rotating direction and that a side face thereof has an operation rod 24 protruding from a cam groove of the case. The cam groove comprises a vertical groove and a locking part 35 for keeping the operation rod detachable when the tip of the pivot shaft is protruded up to a position abutting to the side face of a bearing part. In hanging a door to a frame body, the pivot shaft retracts when the tip thereof abuts to the side face of the bearing part and protrudes to make the tip inserted to a shaft hole of the bearing part when the operation rod 24 is removed from the locking part 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
