In the manufacture of this pin shaft, first many peripheral groove part 14 and annular peak part 165 are alternately formed by rolling with a parallel multi striped zone to the rotation supporting surface 11 of the pivotably attaching pin 1, next the top part of respective annular peak part are suitably plastic deformed all together with the flat and smooth zone, whereby the same diameter of high round surfaces are correctly formed by rolling, by the use of the form rolling tool, which is provided with the parallel multi striped zone wherein many peak part and valley part extending in parallel in the form rolling direction are alternately stood and the flat and smooth zone adherent to the that in the form rolling direction, whose valley part in the parallel multi stripped zone is more recessed than the flat and smooth zone and gradually shallows in the end part and reaches the flat and smooth zone, and whose peak part is more projected than the flat and smooth zone and gradually lowers in the end part and reaches the flat and smooth zone. The peripheral groove part formed between the annular peak part are made to function as oil grooves.
