To place embedding pipes in a high efficiency by simplifying the installation work of the embedding pipes and enabling quick construction.

In a placing method of an embedding pipe 3 which is arranged in a form 2 in advance, after concrete is placed and cured, the form is removed, a socket joint 8 is attached to the front end of the embedding pipe 3, and a joint protection tool 11 surrounding the socket joint 8 and forming a space 10 opened at the tip end side is attached, and after the embedding pipe 3 is arranged so that the front end opening 12 of the joint protection tool 11 gets into contact with the concrete placed face of the form 2 and then concrete is placed in the outside of the embedded pipe 3 and the joint protection tool 11, the form 2 is removed after curement of concrete and a connection pipe is fitted to the socket joint 8 through the space 10 formed in the joint protection tool 11.
