PURPOSE: To realize a placing member made of coated steel which is superior in shock resistance against streaming stones to be generated by a breaker and corrosion proof properties.
CONSTITUTION: A placing member made of coated steel is produced by laminating a rubber elastic plastic layer 5 containing a 3-30wt.% coloring pigment on the surface of a steel material 1 such as a steel pipe stake, steel sheet pile, steel pile sheet pile, a steel sheet pile having an irregular shape or a continuous wall steel sheet pipe or H-section steel to those of which ground treatment is performed through an urethane elastomer layer 4. Therefore, since the placing member made of coated steel is superior in shock resistance against streaming stones when it is used for building of a structural matter on the seashore where the streaming stones surge upon by a breaker, excellent corrsionproof properties are displayed for a long period.
