Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the subsidence of paving stone blocks on the ground.
CONSTITUTION: In the placing structure of having stone blocks, the roadbed 2 is provided on the subgrade 1, a sand cushion layer 5 is formed on the roadbed 2, and paving stone blocks 5 are placed through a water-permeable sheet 4 on the layer 3. The side ends of the sheet 4 are bent on the boundary A with the adjacent area positioned on the sloped low place of the ground to cover the low place end 3b of the cusion layer 3. Since the paving stone blocks on the cavity formed between the layer 3 and sheet 4 are supported by the tension of the sheet 4, the subsidence of the paving stone blocks can be effectively prevented. The cavity to be formed between the layer 3 and the sheet 4 due to the runoff of sand with water can also be effectively prevented.
