Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar antenna capable of reducing transmission loss even if the frequency of electromagnetic wave is high, and capable of preventing oxidization of an electromagnetic wave transmission reception surface without requiring nickel plating or gold plating, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A planar antenna 1 includes a resin base material 2 and a conductor circuit 3 provided thereon and having an electromagnetic wave transmission reception surface. The resin base material 2 includes a modified surface 2a subjected to surface modification, the conductor circuit 3 is provided on the modified surface 2a and has the contact surface 3a with the modified surface 2a as an electromagnetic wave transmission reception surface, where the arithmetic average roughness Ra of the contact surface 3a is 2 μm or less. A manufacturing method of planar antenna 1 includes a step of forming the modified surface 2a subjected to surface modification, by irradiating the surface of the resin base material 2 with light, and a step of forming the conductor circuit 3, where the arithmetic average roughness Ra of the contact surface 3a with the modified surface 2a is 2 μm or less, on the modified surface 2a by deposition method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
