PURPOSE: To simplify the antenna installation remarkably by adopting the structure such that an antenna element is arranged on a front side, a rear side, of the front and rear side or an intermediate layer of a plate so as to embed a planar antenna in the backing of the roof.
CONSTITUTION: An antenna element 3 made of a metallic foil or an alloy foil or the like is arranged on a plane 2 in a planar antenna 1. The plate 2 may be an optional member such as a sheet member, a panel member or a roof sheathing member may be used. As the method arranging the antenna element 3 on the plate 2, the antenna element 3 is adhered to the surface of the plate 2, or the antenna element 3 is covered by a laminate film 4 and integrally formed in the plate 2. Or the antenna element 3 is coated by the laminate film 4 from upper and lower sides and a planar body is formed by the laminate film 4. Moreover, the antenna elements 3, 3a orthogonal to each other may be arranged on the front and rear sides of the plate 2 and it is possible to provide the antenna elements in the same direction or the antenna elements of different kind of circuit constitution.
