Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the gain and to avoid the effect on the directivity by providing an exciting probe corresponding to a lot of holes, removing one or plural radiation elements in the vicinity of the middle and providing a feeding point at the removed position.
CONSTITUTION: A recessed hole 4 is provided on a 1st metallic plate 1, and a 2nd metallic board 2 has a hole 5 whose upper side is formed into conical having the same diameter as that of the hole 4 and penetrated in the vertical direction. The boards 1, 2 are aligned so as to make the holes 4, 5 in matching with each other when a board 3 is inserted between the metallic boards 1, 2. Furthermore, when the board 3 is inserted between the metallic boards 1, 2, a cavity 6 linked to the holes 4, 5 is formed. A conductor foil 7 coating the board 3 is connected via the cavity 6 to form a suspended line. The foil 7 is projected by a prescribed length on a common plane of the board 3 orthogonal to the center direction of the holes 4, 5 to form a couple of exciting probes 8, 9. One (or plural) element in the middle of plural radiation elements each formed by coupling a couple of the exciting probes 8, 9 on the board 3 with the conductor foil 7 is removed and a feeding waveguide converter 30 is placed on the removed position and a feeding point 12 and a waveguide are connected via the converter 30.
