To provide a planar coil with high heat dissipation and high reliability.SOLUTION: A planar coil 10 includes: a base body 1 having a first surface; and a first coil body 2a provided on the first surface and having a plurality of thin film coil conductors 2aa overlaid in the thickness direction with a shield layer 2ab therebetween, forming multiple layers. The thin film coil conductors 2aa have cavities 9a.
