Title:
PLANAR HEATING ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008103233
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a planar heating element capable of surely preventing disconnection of a branch electrode even if a peeling strength to the planar heating element is generated due to warpage of an electric floor heating panel.

The planar heating element includes a base material 2, an interdigital electrode 3 constituted of a pair of main electrodes 3a and a branch electrode 3b formed in the base material 2 by printing, polymer resistor blocks 4a, 4b, 4c divided and formed by printing so as to be electrically and/or physically coupled to the pair of branch electrodes 3b, and a covering material 6 on which a hot melt resin 5 that covers the whole surface of the base material 2, the interdigital electrode 3, and the polymer resistor blocks 4a, 4b, 4c is applied. The polymer resistor 4 is printed on the branch electrode 3b, and the polymer resistor 4 that is printed on the branch electrode 3b is cross-linked between the polymer resistor blocks 4a, 4b, 4c.
