Abstract:

To provide a planar lamp which reduces the discharge voltage and improves light emission efficiency by preparing a pair of electrodes each comprising a plurality of electrodes in each discharge cell.

The planar lamp comprises a lower substrate 100 and an upper substrate which are disposed facing each other separated by at a certain gap and form at least one discharge cell, and a first electrode part 111 and a second electrode part 112 which are formed in pairs, at least on the lower substrate or on the upper substrate in each discharge cell. The first electrode part 111 and the second electrode part 112 comprise a plurality of electrodes (111a, 111b and 111c for the first electrodes, and 112a, 112b and 112c for the second electrodes).
