Abstract:
To provide a planar light emitter using a resin as a base material, and an illumination device and an information display device including the planar light emitter, which converts ultraviolet light into visible light with high efficiency and has high light extraction efficiency.SOLUTION: A planar light emitter includes a planar base material 2 constituted of a resin, phosphor particles 4, and an intermediate layer 3 disposed between the main surface 2a of the base material 2 and the phosphor particles 4, and the intermediate layer 3 has a recess 7 corresponding to shapes of the phosphor particles 4, and the phosphor particles 4 are supported in the recess 7 so as to be exposed from the intermediate layer 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
