To provide a thin planar lighting fixture capable of connecting a plurality of LEDs using one-side wiring structure of simple and low-cost construction in parallel, with high and uniform luminance.
In the planar lighting fixture, the LEDs 30 have a light emitting portion 32 of which translucent resin is exposed, and a circuit board 20 has land portions 12, 14 and wiring patterns 15-18 formed only on one face 20a side, and an opening part 26 is provided at immediately front portion of the land portion 12. The portion of the wiring pattern 18 which passes the front part of the land portion 12 is formed in the surrounding region 24 excluding the land portion 12 side of the opening part 26, and the LEDs 30 are mounted on the circuit board 20 so as to protrude the light emitting portion 32 from the outline of the circuit board 20 or so as to be arranged on the opening part 26. Furthermore, a reflector can be arranged so as to directly face the upper and the lower faces of the plurality of LEDs 30 connected in parallel by this one-side wiring structure.
