To provide a planar multiplex antenna that can be housed in a portable terminal unit, electric appliance, wall, etc., with a small space, is low in cost, can secure its performance, and can transmit and receive radio waves of a plurality of frequencies, and to provide electric equipment equipped with the antenna.
In a U-shaped slit section, two L-shaped conductor lines 5 having lengths (i) and widths (h) are formed in a state where the lines 5 are protruded from parts of a radiating element section 3 and a ground section 4. Consequently, a loop-shaped antenna which functions at one used frequency is constituted of the space 6 realized by the two conductor lines 5 simultaneously with another antennal which is formed of the U-shape constituted of the element section 3 and ground section 4 and functions at another used frequency.
