Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a plane light emission type discharge lamp, which can make uniform plane light emission without striation, which is embodied in a thin form, and wherein a discharge path is formed between a front glass and rear glass.
CONSTITUTION: A spacer 12 of glass beads is arranged over the front surface of a flat rear glass 13, and a fluorescent film 6 is attached to the inner surface of the glass 13. A discharge path A partitioned by this spacer 12 is formed between the rear glass 13 and a front glass 4 located closely to each other by joining the front glass 4 on the spacer 12. A diffusion plate 5 is placed on the front glass 4 in tight attachment.
