PURPOSE: To efficiently receive a radio wave and improve the gain of the received radio wave by projecting a couple of projection pieces inward to positions shifting from the centers of opposite side parts of an antenna element to one-end sides.
CONSTITUTION: The couple of projection pieces 6 project inward from the centers of the opposite long-side parts 3 of the antenna element 1 to one-end sides. Consequently, a phase difference is generated between a current which flows to the upper loop of the couple of projection pieces 6 and a current which flows to the lower loop and the main lobe obtained by the vector composition of the both slants, so that the main lobe slants to the opposite direction from the vertical direction of the antenna element 1 to the direction where the projection pieces 6 shift from the centers of the long-side parts 3. Therefore, the direction of the main lobe of the antenna element 1 is made nearly horizontal by installing the antenna element so that the short-side part 4 on the side where the couple of projection pieces 6 shift from the center of the long-side parts 3 is positioned on the ridge side of the roof, thereby aligning the direction of the main lobe of the antenna element 1 with the radio wave arrival direction.
