PURPOSE: To adjust freely a parallel between metallic dies, and to execute a straightening working of high accuracy by a low pressure by constituting a titled device so that a pressure surface of one metallic die is brought to ultrasonic vibration, and the other metallic mold holds the metallic mold body on a supporting base through an elastic body.
CONSTITUTION: A material to be worked 3 is inserted into between pressure surfaces 6a, 12a of the first and the second metallic dies 6, 12 placed oppositely in a frame 17, the surfaces 6a, 12a are pressed by a pressure mechanism 16, and the working material 3 is straightened to a plane. In this case, the pressure surface 6a of the die 6 supported by a flange 7b is brought to an ultrasonic vibration through a cone 7 by an ultrasonic vibrator 9, also the die 12 is held by a supporting base 12d through an elastic body 13, a recessed part 12b is supported pivotally by a projecting part 12e, and the surfaces 6a, 12a are adjusted in parallel. In this way, the material to be worked can be straightened with high accuracy by a low pressure. This device is used for working VTR parts, a capstan motor, etc. for which a degree of parallelization is required.
