Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make a transmission mechanism compact, by using two solenoid clutches for forward drive in two steps and reverse drive in one step. CONSTITUTION:The first, second and third inputs gears 12, 17, 27 revolve in the same direction at different speeds, being driven by a driving source. As the second solenoid coil 32 is deenergized and the first solenoid coil 23 is energized, a holder 3 and the second input gear 17 are connected with each other to thrust in first gear. As the first and second solenoid coils 23, 32 are energized at the same time, the holder 3 and a sun gear 2 revolve together with the gear 17 and the other input gear 27 respectively to thrust in second gear. As the first solenoid coil 23 is deenergized and the second solenoid coil 32 is energized, the sun gear 2 revolves together with the gear 27 to thrust in reverse. A one-way clutch 15 is locked in first and reverse gears.
