Abstract:

To provide a planetary roller mechanism suppressing a variation in the sum of the magnitude of pressing force between ring rollers and pinion rollers while suppressing an increase in dimension.

This planetary roller mechanism 20 includes a plurality of pinion rollers 24 respectively brought into contact with a sun roller 21 and the ring rollers 22, 23 and transmits power. In the planetary roller mechanism, a pressing mechanism 25 is provided. The pressing mechanism has a body 26 with its axial movement regulated and a plurality of pressing members 28 arranged at regular intervals in a peripheral direction with respect to the ring rollers. The pressing members axially presses the ring rollers according to power transmitted by regulating relative rotation between the body and the ring rollers, and the pinion rollers are pressed radially inward through a tapered surface by the ring rollers. Each of the rollers transmits the power while mutually pressing by the pressing force generated by the pressing mechanism according to the power transmitted. The pinion rollers are arranged at regular intervals in the peripheral direction. The number of pressing members arranged in the peripheral direction is different from the multiple of the number of pinion rollers arranged in the peripheral direction.
