Abstract:
PURPOSE:To decrease the weight of a device, and also reduce its size and manufacturing cost, by imparting a clutch function to constitutional elements of the divice. CONSTITUTION:When working oil S pressurized to a prescribed pressure is inducted into an oil chamber 16, an axially directional pressing force F proportional to the pressure of said working oil S is generated, and if said pressing force F exceeds a certain value, the width of an elastic roller 30 is shrunk to decrease the radius of its inner circumferential surface, press contact said inner circumferential surface to the outer circumferential surface of a planetary roller 2 and generate a press contact force P. a crowning deformation of the elastic roller 30 deriving from the above force is increased almost in proportion to the pressing force F, accordingly a clutch operation can be performed by changing the pressing force F.
