Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minutely adjust ratio of rotation speed of an input shaft and an output shaft or control the ratio of rotation speed with intention centered on arbitrary speed ratio including 1:1.
SOLUTION: This planetary roller type continuously variable transmission is provided with a planetary roller step-up gear 30 using a carrier 10a as the input shaft and a sun roller 35 as the output shaft, a planetary roller reduction gear 40 using a sun roller 45 as the input shaft and a carrier 11a as the output shaft, and a worm transmission 50 for rotating and driving a roller ring 44 in contact with a planetary roller 43 of the planetary roller reduction gear 40 in a housing 20 to connect the output shaft 35 of the planetary roller step-up gear 30 with the input shaft 45 of the planetary roller reduction gear 40.
